Carrickfergus Rugby Football Club Youth section is now established as a forerunner for Youth rugby in
Ulster. In the most recent past it can boast both Premier league titles and Ulster cup victories at all youth
age grades. Our Youth section has also produced a number of players to both play for Ulster representative
youth squads and represent our club 1st xv. Our Youth teams have a panel of qualified and highly
experienced management and coaching staff who offer all those that attend training each Wednesday to
develop both individual skills and personal qualities for all players.
Our Child Welfare Officer is Glen Graham (details can be found on the CWO poster attached below)
Youth Training Information:
U14s, U16s and U18s will train on Wednesday nights from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and play matches on Saturday
mornings.
In addition to our Youth section we also have a thriving Minis section for all pupils currently enrolled in P1
through to Year 8 in local Primary Schools. Our Minis section meet to train/play every Saturday morning
from 9am to 10am at the club grounds located on the Woodburn Road, Carrickfergus.
All new members are always welcome in both our Minis and Youth sections with further information being
available from Paul Stenson (Minis Convenor) and Richard Higgins (Youth Co-ordinator). Contact details for
